CI already runs ./scripts/verify --check on every push and pull
request, which runs the full nextest and plugin test suites. The
default (autofixing) local run no longer duplicates that: it still
applies formatting, fix-rust-source and clippy fixes, but skips
cargo nextest run and the plugin tests. --check is unchanged and
keeps running the full suite, which is what CI invokes.
