Tags
Open a repository's Tags tab to find a tagged version of its code. You need read access to the repository.
Each row shows the tag name, whether it is annotated, the commit it points at and who committed it when. Type in the search box to filter by name; pages hold up to 100 tags. A signed annotated tag shows Verified or Unverified.
Create a tag
Tags are created with Git and pushed:
| 1 | git tag -a v1.0.0 -m "Version 1.0.0" |
| 2 | git push origin v1.0.0 |
Delete a tag
With write access, delete a tag from its row and confirm, or run
cafe tag delete <name> --yes. Rulesets can protect
tags from deletion. Deletion activity (the history icon) shows the result
of your recent deletions.
Download a tagged version
cafe repo archive tag v1.0.0 > v1.0.0.tar.gz downloads the tagged tree as a
tar.gz archive.
